In 2013, practitioner partners include: National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration - National Weather ServiceRaytheon Company, EWR Weather Radar, Vaisala Inc., First RF Corporation and National Research Institute for Earth Science and Disaster Prevention (NIED).

Practioner Partners and Students

The ERC gave students broader, non-technical capabilities that made them more effective as potential leaders in industry and elsewhere. It encouraged interactions between industry and students at several levels:

  • Participation in joint research projects
  • Attendance at research seminars
  • Industrial visits
  • Winter and Summer Internships

CASA Practitioner Partners often hired undergraduate and graduate students. CASA continually worked with our practitioner partners to identify matches between their hiring needs and CASA graduating students. Practitioner partners had access to resumes of graduating students.
